Opus 186

A Rainbow of I Ching Triads
for seven similar instruments

This work is in three parts and gone through the 64 step I Ching cycle.

Part one is I Ching No.'s 1-32

Part two (like a slow movement) is I Ching No.'s 33-39

Part three is I Ching No.'s 40-64

This work for four similar instruments replaces a work that was never completed but assigned "opus 186" Written in August & September 2019. This is a work using the I Ching cycle (version 5 scales summarized in the many works uncatalogued in opus 200)

This composition is surprisingly happy.
