This work is in one continuous movement but in several parts. This was written in November 1998. In 2013 this was revised and simplified.
The original is in three parts:
1: Introduction; Andantino
2: Rupavati: Allegro
and is in a higher and harder key that the revision. The revision is a version for good high school students or average college level. I have kept the introduction and the "Rupavati" movement. The Rupavati is one of the I Ching scales that also lines up with the scale from Northern India call Rupavati, which translate as "Ripe Beauty."
The revision keeps the introduction which is seen as "Dark" and then presents the wonderful melody of the Rupavati.
